Easter was lovely this year. We missed our church service trying to get everyone ready so we visited another church that had a special service for Easter. The diversity of the Church, the music, the message, everything was very inspiring. We've considered seeking out a new church home and we'll have to wait a few weeks and then try another "regular" service at their normal location.
The pictures only tell part of the story as both girls were very engaged with the true meaning of Easter this year. Mommy did a baking project with them at home with Empty Tomb treats and Jetu's school very much focused the message on Jesus' crucifixion and subsequent rising. Each time I'd pick Jetu up from pre-school, she would excitedly say, "Mom, Jesus is Alive! He died on the cross, but Jesus is Alive! It was very sweet. Her prayers lately have been very impressive as well.
