Our holidays were filled with fun and family. I didn't get any great pics of Christmas morning and the presents, but suffice it to say the girls were very blessed on Jesus' birthday. More importantly, we had family members in town from all up and down the East Coast. They came and went at different times, but we always had a house full of fun, laughter, and joy. I couldn't find a pic of Cousin Garrett to include here, but he was quite the hit with the girls. It was great having the kids get to know one another. We all rented a place large enough to facilitate our gathering in a quaint resort area 10 miles from our home. The place was huge, had basically glass walls on the main living floor as well as a very open floor plan. It worked out very well since we got hit with a pretty hefty snow storm on Christmas day into the day-after. There was no going anywhere by car (except for my brother who decided to turn his 10 hour drive into a 14 hour drive and set off in the blizzard to get home). We were all glad to be able to look out onto the wonderful winter wonderland. The girls and Papa had many a snowball battle. The beach was beautiful with all that snow on the shore, the sun shining and the waves rolling in! It all worked out so well, many of us were ready to reserve for next year.
