Happy Fourth of July

Graham is doing much better and on the road to recovery and we've got some catching up to do. Just wanted to start out by saying Happy 4th!

The girls are doing great and we just had a lovely week with friends visiting from Texas and Ohio. Two families who also adopted from Ethiopia brought their children to a reunion of sorts in Virginia Beach. We went through the adoption process together with the same agency, supported one another via emails, and ended up travelling the same week and staying at the same guest home when picking up our children in Ethiopia. The girls were very happy to see their "little sisters", Liya (16 mos) and Josie (23 mos). Josie's brother, Ty (4), also joined the group and he and Jetu (and Nebyat) had many fun adventures all week. We had 80 degree temps and beautiful sunshine most of the week. We had much fun at the beach, the pool, the house, dining out, cooking out, etc. It was a true celebration of being on this side of the whole daunting process. I'll post some pics when I receive them from the others.
