We're just about at the top of the next hill

We had a very quick turnaround of the state authentications of our powers of attorney. I believe we can get our dossier out tomorrow or Monday, woooohooooo!

The powers of attorney are required in E Country because our adoption(s) will be finalized prior to our arrival in country. A representative will act on our behalf for court, etc. and then when we travel to E Country, we'll be in and out in 5 to 7 days - we'll secure visas for the children, they'll likely have doctor appointments and bloodwork and we'll be on our way home. I'm not sure what arrangements will be made when we arrive - will we be allowed to pick them up and take them with us to our guest house or hotel? Seems like that's the way it should be considering the adoption is already final - I guess all of that will be made clear as we get closer. Because we will not have seen the children in person prior to their adoption finalization in E Country, they will have to have a different type of visa to enter the States and we will have to readopt them upon return. At least, that's my basic understanding.
