Begging

I wonder how successful I'll be with my new approach. I have called the doctor's office and asked for an appointment with my family physician for another physical - none available until 9/30 - too long to wait, because then I'll have to have labs and wait and then wait for the letter, etc.

The receptionist said our family doc has walk-ins Thursday and Friday morning this week, so I'll be there at 8:30 am on Thursday and see if I can beg my way into the letter. I can initiate another physical or whatever he needs, but hopefully he can just do my letter in the meantime. Perhaps I'll drop our mutual friend's name even - as I've been reminded - my children depend on it.
