The police clerk at the local police records area earned a gold star this morning. She reproduced our local police clearance letters on the agency-recommended template and helped with getting "proper" signatures on the letters as well. She didn't even charge me another $30. She did it with a smile and had a magnet at her desk that said, "Little kindnesses are what change work to life" or something like that. I was most appreciative and thought I'd send a kudos to the blogosphere on her behalf. I pray someone does something extra special for her - it would probably be frowned upon for me to under the circumstance.
